Shat Kek Ma

My favourite snacks - SHAK KEH MA. I like those from Ipoh because their texture are softer and have a slight frangance egg smell when you bite them. I can actually finished up the whole pack by myself if nobody stop me. ^_^

One fine day while I went to shop at Family Store (N.Sembilan minimarket chain), I found this new type of Shat Kek Ma. It has a few type of flavours to choose from.
Out of curiosity, I bought 1 pack (Cappuccino flavour) to try and was hooked! The texture is definately different from those Ipoh type (not soft but towards crunchy), not very sweet and goes very well with the cappuccino taste. A perfect snacks to munch on when you are sleepy.

  5. I used to LOVE this too! I still prefer the Ipoh one where it's softer and more chewy rather than crunchy.

  7. oh gosh! my collg from China actually brought back 1 pack of this Sha Qi Ma (China brand) and said this is a famous food from China...

then my collg from Msia said this is also popular in Msia...

But I'd never seen this food before... and am quite surprised the same food can be popular in 2 countries --- China and Msia.
