Tooth Fairy, please HELP !

Baby XJ @ 13 months old (going to be 14 months in 12 Nov) and she is only having 4 teeth ! 2 at the bottom front and 2 upper front.

I think I will need to seek help from the Tooth Fairy. Or do they just came and pick up dropped tooth only?

Lately, she does not like to eat bread anymore. She will pushed out the bread using her tounge and picked with her little fingers and pass it to whoever is near to her. She does not like to drink milk either and we will need to use toys to 'bait' her to drink. While she was busy playing with her toys, she will be sucking her milk away until she finished up the whole bottle! Feeding her porridge is also like a bonus. Some day she finished up the whole bowl, some day she doesn't.

Past few days, she finally took her 1st step unsupported. The most, she could walk 3 steps before sitting on her bum again. Aaaa....a moment which I've been waiting anxiously and is finally here. Soon, I can bring her shopping without worrying about carrying her in my arm (since she does not like to sit in the stroller).

Economy Rice

When hubby and I took economy rice for our lunch, there is 1 simple rule which we will automatically apply. That is, I shall not pick the dishes he picked and vice versa ! With this, we will have more dishes to eat.

Below are just an example of economy rice which we normally eat. (Photos not taken by me)

If this is hubby's rice (1 meat, 1 vege, 1 egg) .................. and............

If this is mine, (1 meat, 1 vege, 1 bean) .............. and...................COMBINED ......

taa daa.......we will ended up with 6 dishes on each plate ! and the price is always below RM8 for 2 (at our area here la).

Honest Scrap Award (My 1st award)

Honestly.....before I start this meme, I'm going to break one of the rules, which is I'm not going to pass this award around as 10 is a BIG number to me. I do not know who to pass this award to. Not because you are not entitle to own it, but it is just a hard decision for me to choose TEN.

Anyway, would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Angeline - All About Your Child who handed this award to me. It is rather a surprised and am honoured to own it because my blog is not even 1 year old yet! Thank you Angeline. This award really meant a lot to me. It will keep me motivated to blog even more now. *wink*

Nevertheless, I will still tell you 10 Honest things about myself.

1) I'm afraid of DOG. It is just natural and whenever I saw a dog approaching towards me, my hair will all stand up. FIL is going to get a pet dog soon. Wonder how am I going to walk in and out of the house. Or will I ended up LOVING that pet dog to death ?

2) I love KFC. My favourite fast food after so many years. I've never failed to order their fried chicken, even I've already ordered their burger. Ended up, I will eat till very full and regret why I'm stuffing myself like that.

3) I never like my current job. Yes. Working in a family business = flexibility. People tend to say, "Wah! you so lucky. Can go to work together with hubby, eat lunch with hubby and come back with hubby". But I never like my job, even I'm able to online from 8-5 blogging and playing online games in Facebook. I still prefer Tourism line, a line which I'm been in since I've started working officially at the age of 19/20. My 1st job is in Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and 2nd is with Genting. Interesting!!!

4) I hate smokers. Dear smokers, don't get offended please. I only hate those who love to smoke inside the lift, in air-con places and besides me. If you really wish to smoke, please stand at the smoking zone or away from us with small children.

5) I admired those who can draw. I never have the ability to draw even I've attended art classes during my schooling days. Whenever YX requested me to draw something for him, I will simply sketch one and he will be there whinning and saying "No!!! It is not like that. It does not look like a monkey"!

6) I only have the courage to drive after I got my driving license for almost 10 years. That was after I'm married. As hubby was working (I was temporary jobless), and need to go for a job interview, MIL have to drives me there. So paisey!!!! Left with no choice, I forced myself to drive and now, I'm no longer a 'handicapped' as I can drive wherever I wanted to go.

7) I have an ideal weight, but NOT body shape. I weight 55 kg and stand at 163 cm (After giving birth to 2). I have a big bum which make me difficult to buy pants and jeans. I can only wear A line skirt, and not straight cut. Therefore, I love those designer who came up with the current fashion whereby the blouse/dress is long enough to cover the hip area and wore a tight pants over.

8) I'm the youngest amongst all my cousins (maternal side, and 2nd youngest at paternal side). While hubby is the oldest amongst all his cousins (both Paternal & Maternal side). Therefore, his uncles and aunties' age = my cousins' age and his cousins' age = my nephew/nieces' age (counsin's children). Hahaha....Understand??? I already earned an aunty status before I was actually born!

9) I love travelling and enjoying good food. I love to enjoy life but do not have the ample $$$$$ to do so. Anyone wanna sponser me??? I don't mind to work part-time as a traveller and a food tester. But no Fear Factor kind of food please!

10) I love to day dreams! I always built castle in the air! hahaha...because I like fantasy. In real life, this will never happen. But life still have to go on.

Phew! 10 honest things about myself are not so easy to pen down. The above are ABSOLUTELY TRUTH, nothing but the TRUTH !

2nd Genting trips in a month

I'm back from the cool hill with sexy voice and cough. So is my dear YX and XJ !

The 3 of us developed cough with phlegm while hubby and SIL escape the virus. Guess both of their immune system are still strong.

This trip, we brought both the kids for some fun at the arcade. The previous trip with my parents, we only do some window shopping and walk around the Indoor Theme Park and outside for some cool & fresh air.

With hubby around, he is willing to spend $$ for the arcade because he himself loves to play them! As usual, YX was very excited and requesting me to take photo for him.

YX don't really know how to play the games, so hubby helped him out. But he is the master to choose which machine he wanted. It was real fun as it has been ages since hubby & I went to the arcade to have some fun! LOL. We used to frequent the arcade during dating time.

YX posing for the camera again. We did not insert any coin for this ride because he is afraid of a moving one. Save our money!

We are all dead tired from walking the whole day, but the kids are still so energetic. Even baby XJ who nap for a max of 1 - 2 hours during the day time did not make any fuss and enjoying herself too.

We put the kids to bed at around 9 pm and YX was so cooperative that night and went to dreamland in less than 10 minutes. I guess he was really tired! Baby XJ was a little bit difficult to handle and took almost an hour before she finally knocked off. We then get SIL to babysit both the kids, while hubby and I decided to visit the Casino (hopefully to earn something).
Just as we decided to sit down for a game, hubby received a call from SIL saying baby XJ was crying non-stop. We quickly rushed back to the hotel room and at that moment, I felt so sorry for her. This was the 1st time seeing her crying so badly like asking us to go home right away so she could smell her bed. We did bring her PATRICK along but that does not work to calm her down. After some singing and rocking manually with her in my arm, she finally went to sleep so soundly until the next morning. Phew!
Overall, we did enjoyed ourselves so much despite being so tired after the trip. Hopefully, our next trip (don't know when) we will be able to earn something from Genting and not just spending.

1...2....3... ACTION !

Look at this vain pot! Posing with McD icon......The Ronald McDonald.

I did not ask him to pose. Once I took out my camera, Oh boy ! He posed instantly.
Happy weekend everyone........on Sunday I will be going to Genting AGAIN. Ahh..... my 2nd Genting trips in 1 month. This time, hubby and baby XJ will be following. *Gonna enjoy my holidays* ^_^

Smelly smelly, but I need that to sleep !

This is baby XJ's little companion. She can't sleep without it. She needs to hug and smell this little fella to help her sleep. Just like those great great great grandparents who need a dose of opium to satisfy themself before going to the dreamland. *Heard from my late grandma that those old people in China used to smoke opium before bedtime*

Courtesy of SIL who bought this doggie last month in Memory Lane at Sunway Pyramid. Now, she just can't PART with this red doggie and will cry for it during bedtime. She even wakes up in the middle of the night to look for it if she felt she is not hugging it! Once I put it in between of her arm, she felt so secure and comfortable.

And this tortoise....belongs to YX. Hubby bought this little fella when YX was a few months old because hubby said they look alike! *slap forehead* .... Also from Memory Lane @ Sunway Pyramid. Luckily YX did not have that habit of can't sleep without hugging or smelling this little fella when he was a baby. Thus, I've kept this poor tortoise in the box to avoid collecting dust!

Humpty Dumpty.....

...... HAD A GREAT FALL !

Well, that's ME !!!

So embarrassing, I know.......but I really want to rant it out!

It happend this morning, in my office pantry.

I was careless afterall. Used to wear a pair of rubber slipper whenever I step into the pantry or bathroom. I wore them due to keep my feet clean and not because of protecting myself from the slippery floor.

But this morning, I just ignored that pair of rubber slipper and step into the pantry bare footed. Just my luck to step on a patch of water and in a split seconds...........wwwweeeeee............. I fell and sat on my bum ! Where the HELL did that patch of water came from?????? !!!!!

Luckily no one saw. Can you imagine how embarrassing it will be if my FIL or the clerk saw...........

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! .........

Lesson learnt!

1) I MUST wear that pair of faithful rubber slipper whenever I step into the pantry and bathroom.

2) Now I realised how slippery the floor can be when there are water on the surface !

Stick there .....

While helping YX to bathe.....

Popo : Boy, what is this (pointing at his penis)

YX : Bird bird (He used to say ku ku zhai, but not anymore)

Popo : *laugh* Quick quick take bathe. Later wear pants. It not, bird bird fly away !

YX : *In a very innocent look and voice* ~ NO. WON'T FLY. IT STICK THERE !

Popo : hahahaha .........

Spanking somebody's child

I have a friend S, who stayed with her in-laws consisting of one old grandmother, parent in laws, 1 younger brother in law and 2 younger sister in laws. She get along very well with her in-laws but not until recently when her toddler son was spank by the youngest SIL. The boy is only 3 years old. S agreed that her son is sometimes very stubborn and mischevious, but as a mother, her thought was 'That is what a toddler is' It is NORMAL to be naughty. NORMAL to be active. NORMAL to make everyone's blood boil!

She even went online website to read about a 3 years old's behaviour to understand more and to compare with her son's behaviour. Her findings was, it is NATURAL for her son to react like that.

That very night while she was feeding her son dinner, it turns out to be sour because the boy got a little cranky and whinning for his story book. S firmly said "If you finished up your dinner, mummy will read that storybook to you". As a stubborn toddler, he just could not digest that sentence and go against his mother. Still whinning, S tried to stay CALM and avoid hitting her son.

Out of no where, this youngest SIL came and hit the boy's arm REAL HARD! S was stunned! The boy, of course cried. It adds to her misery when the youngest SIL shouted at the boy asking him to keep quiet. Can you imagine such situation? The mother was trying to stay calm throughtout the feeding battle and trying her best, as a mother to make the feeding enjoyable but was interrupted by this scene.

Not the end yet. While the boy was still crying, the youngest SIL wanted to show her 'best discipline skills' and drag the boy outside of the house and closed the door! That of course lead the boy to cry even louder! The toddler does not even understand why he was being chased out of the house and he cried because he was afraid. S was so helpless and does not want to go against her SIL because she does not want to have a sour relationship with someone she has to stay with under one roof for the rest of her life (unless that SIL married out).

Still staying calm, S went out to carry her crying toddler son in and straight went to the bedroom, and cried. By the way, all the other family members were not around at that time. Only the youngest SIL, S and the boy at home.

S went out for tea with me the other weekend and was asking me for some advise on such situation because I was also staying with my in - laws and have a 3 year old (stubborn and mischevious) toddler just like her. Can't a mother who was learning to understand her toddler's behaviour be given a chance to improve their mother and child bonding rather than to be interfered with the harsh discipline act? WHY DO SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO SPANK OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILD ?

A little treats for the kids

I NEVER buy candies / chocolates for my kids, but people around us always buy for them. Kids just can't resist eating them, so I will normally limit the amount they take. Or I should said only YX ate them because XJ is still too young to enjoy candies / chocolates.

My dad will normally buy M&M / Smarties chocolates for YX and I will be nagging away when I saw them. To avoid hearing my nagging, dad will share the whole tube of chocolates with YX instead of giving him all. Dad said "It is just a little treat for your son", but sorry dad, I don't encourage my own kids to eat these. Am I too strict?

My in-laws on the other hand, will normally buy Yakult and Calci-Yum for the kids. They even intoduced some to baby XJ and lucky hubby had the same instinct as mine, quickly stop my MIL from giving them to baby. I'm not sure if it is safe for baby consumption, so I better play safe. MIL will be there (same as my dad) saying "Just a little bit of treat for your kids". Sigh!!!!

This is YX's favourites. I will normally only limit him to eat 1 tube a day after meals. If he knew he will be having this, he will quickly finished up his rice.

Yummy yogurt. Not very sweet but very strong fruit essence. Imagine the amount of colouring and food presevatives being used. I'm always worried about those things being added into kid's foods.

Creamy yogurt. YX can finished them up in less than 5 minutes. No need to feed, no need to shout, and he can eat them so clean & neat with not even a drop on the table. If only he can sit still and eat his 3 main meals like this.......my job will be easier.

Strawberry Park - Genting Part 3

Along the way down, we stopped by at the Awana Cable Car Station. We were actually looking for the Strawberry farm but there is no road sign and we ended up at the cable car station. There is a shop selling lotsa cuttlefish, tidbits, biscuits and sweets inside the complex and they gave out free testing too. Mum bought some cuttlefish before we hunt for the strawberry park again. On the way to dad's car, we were shocked to see some wild monkeys standing on top of some car's rooftop. We quickly make our way to the car as one of the monkey saw us holding a plastic bag and begun to follow behind. That really gave me a scare because the wild monkey does look fierce ! Just imagine being attacked by Wild Monkeys during your holidays!!! ..... SCARY !

This photo was taken inside the complex of the Awana Cable Car station. Very nice wall paper. Just like we are visiting the aquarium huh! haha....

On the way, near the equestrian, we finally saw some buntings showing where the strawberry farm are. We are glad that we found it! This is the entrance of the strawberry park welcoming you with a beautiful fountains. This place is still new with not so many visitors.

Red ripen strawberry waiting for harvest. Once you enter the farm, you could smell the sweet strawberry aromas. *click the picture for larger view*. YX as usual, got so excited seeing the real strawberry hanging on the plant. This is his 1st encounter.

This is the cafe which selling strawberry juices, cakes and etc..... We did not buy anything from this shop but YX thick-skinned sat on the strawberry seat for some photo taking. I did not ask him to pose for this picture but when he saw the little strawberry seats, he just ran over to pose for photos. That little toddler is from the next table who wanted to have a shot too! Look at the shadow on the floor.... you can imagine how hot the weather was. So, bring an umbrella along if you wants some shade.

The route was very well planned whereby you will have to walk every part of the farm before coming to the exit. There are a few shops selling souvenirs along the way. This is near to the exit, The Kite's World. YX was very happy to see so many kites above him and can't help posing for photos, again.
This farm is also highly recommended if you wanted to see some fresh real strawberry. The entrance is FREE. As there is no signboard at the moments, just follow the Yellow colour restaurant signboard and you can easily find the farm. I can't remember the restaurant name. Alternatively, you can look out for Genting Sports Center and the farm is just opposite the sports center.
Finally, we left the farm and had our late lunch (around 2.30pm) at Gohtong Jaya. There were rows of eating shops mainly selling bak kut teh and 'tai chow' (rice + dishes). Not knowing which shop to choose, we just simply step into one of the bak kut teh shop to fill up our empty stomach. I don't remember the name of the shop, but it was located opposite a stall selling chestnut. The bak kut teh portion was quite big (we ordered for 2) and just nice for 3A + 1C. Already knew it will be expensive, the price for the bak kut teh / person is RM18.50 comparing to only RM6 which we could get in Seremban. ^_^

Chin Swee Caves Temple - Genting Part 2

While having fun at the top is not enough, on the way home, we stopped over at the Chin Swee Caves Temple. This place has transform into a very beautiful temple. It was not the same as my childhood time. Dad used to bring us up to Genting once a year every school holidays and this temple is a MUST for us to stop by either on the way up or on the way down. That has been so many years that I did not visit this temple and it was really great to be able to visit this newly renovated place.

The pagoda. I still remember my brother, cousin brother and I always challeged to climb up to the pagoda to see who can reach the top. However, all 3 failed miserably because we were lack of stamina. And I'm always the 1st to surrender.......always out of breath after a few steps.

Beautifully decorated with red lanterns. I'm sure the night scenery here will be breathtaking. Wanted YX to stand at the staircase so I could take his photos with the lanterns as the background, but that boy somehow just refused to stand there.

Journey to the West character. The PIG. YX watched this drama before and thus, he knows the characters. His favourite is definately NOT this! hahah...but he is happy to see PIG and was excited to take photos.

The MONK with white horse is also not YX's favourite character in the Journey to the West. Nevertheless, he always said 'sifu, sifu' when he saw the monk.

And this is YX's favourites! The MONKEY (Sun Wu Kong). I guess it is every kids' favourite character. YX used to take the cane at home and said "Mama, look. I'm like the monkey."

If you do have time, do stop over at this temple for some photos session. It will be a worth while trip which could take away your worries when standing at this cooling mountain seeing such a beautiful scenery. For more photos and history of this temple, please visit here.

A perfect family getaway........Genting Part 1

I'm back! After a few days of silent, I'm finally back to my normal routine. Since my parents were in Seremban last weekend, I've planned to utilized the free Genting room with them. Hubby and baby XJ did not follow. I had a great time with my parents while my parents had a great time with YX. They just can't help laughing at this silly boy.

We made our 1st stop at the Mushroom park. Nothing much to see but can stop over for some photos taking. YX posing with the Giant Pumpkin teapot. He was so excited and asked "Mama, did you bring your camera?"

Then, we proceeded to check in at First World Hotel and was surprised by the crowd! Genting is forever crowded. We had to get a number to check-in and have to wait approx. 400 people ! There are a few check-in kiosk, but they doesn't work with my booking. However, with a relaxing mind and busy chit-chatting with my parents, the time passed so fast and finally, we got our room key.

After some rest and a light snack in the room, we took a walk at the In-door Theme Park. YX dare not try on the rides but was attracted by the arcade machine.

This wall paper is nice ! YX was so energetic and did not complaint of tired even walking for the whole day. He was very excited too and am sure he had a great time!

We had early dinner at Coffee Terrace @ Genting Hotel. This restaurants are highly recommended if you are willing to pay RM55 ++ for their International buffet. Since dinning in Genting can be very expensive (even their fast food are slightly expensive), having a buffet is the best choice because you can really eat till you drop and savouring various type of foods. The service of clearing off the plates are a bit slow, but for food wise, it is still recommended. For senior citizen (above 55 years old), you get to enjoy 50% discount. Kids below 5 years old eats free.

Look at the mist. I really love the weather there, cooling and refreshing! YX also enjoyed the windy cooling air and said "Mama, we can play kite. Got wind!" *slap forehead* It was because we used to bring him to the park for kite flying, but always ended up holding the kite in our hand because of no wind.
Will post up Part 2 soon........

Priceless photos

Remember that I've sent in my photos for e-print? You can read it here.

Yes! I received them yesterday. I was so happy to see the parcel on my table when I came back to the office. I was away sending the 2 Myanmar workers to their embassy in KL for passport renewal. Upon seeing the parcel, the feeling was so great. It was like receiving something from someone special. ^_^

As I was opening the packaging, knowing I will be seeing those priceless moments photos, I just can't help myself smilling all the way. I was happy with the effectivness of the eoe Online. I sent in my order on Friday morning (around 9 am) and received my photos on Tuesday. The quality of the photos are good while the photos are also well protected. They packed the photos into a hard cover box and you don't have to worry about your photos being folded. You may read my 1st purchase here.

There are currently having a blogger review and if your review are selected, you will received 50 4R size and 2 8R size photos for FREE! Don't wait anymore and go to their website now if you do have precious photos for prints!

mama.....you see

We went out for dinner yesterday night together with my parents. YX seems to be very happy to meet up with gong gong and po po again! While waiting for the food to be served, YX must have been very bored and thought of something to amuse us again!

ELEPHANT EARs !!!

Everyone at the table gave a loud laugh at this silly boy. Then he use the saucers (for putting the chillies) and covered his eyes and said MONSTER!!! (I did not managed to snap that picture)

After dinner, we went to have some drinks at the newly open Station 1 Cafe at Terminal 2 because SIL said the environment there was nice. So, we just tried it out. The food is not that tasty, but the drinks are somehow rather unique with special combinations of fruits or honey. This time, YX will not be bored anymore because they do provide games and magazines.

Something for YX to stack up while waiting for the drinks to be served. At the same time, we get him busy by asking him to find the numbers we mentioned. Indirectly, just to test him as well.

A year WISER....

Today is the day hubby and I have to thank her mum for. Because, this date 8 OCT is....

... the day which she bear the most unbearable pain in her life, EVER.
.... the day which marked the start of going through the most uncomfortable moments in her life, for at least 2 months
.... the day which marked the end of her freedom

And a BIG THANK YOU for bringing my hubby into this world !!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY hubby......I will never say you are a year older, but WISER.

As you may be a boring hubby, (admit it, ok!), but you are a very responsible man. A man who can be counted for, a man who are trustworthy. You may not be a good listener, but you are a joker who always make me laugh at your *silly jokes*.

May you have a blessed birthday...............as usual.......NO PRESENT for you! save money for the kids and our wish holidays, ok? *wink wink*

Photo printings

I was never into photography not until the arrivals of my bundle of joy. Having them really forced me to learnt a lot of new things and invovled in a new hobby too! Nowadays, my camera will be always in my bag so I could easily grab them and take those priceless moments in a nick of time. You never know when the little ones will show you funny faces or stunts which you never want to miss out. Those photos will surely brings back 'good old time' memories and a broad smile to their faces when the kids grew up years later. Excatly how I felt whenever I flip through my own childhood photos, whether being alone, or together with my family.

Months ago, I chanced upon an online photo website, eoe Online where you could do online shopping on the photographic products, share your photos with family and friends, order online printing, enter photo contest and etc. I was actually more interested with the e-prints and has the urge to send in my order after understanding on how it works. After a few considerations, I finally sent in my request online. I've blogged about it here.

It is very easy to use the e-print uploaded photo options. You will need to sign up as a member, go to the e-print tab and choose which software you wish to use to upload your photos for printing. Once completed, you will be prompt to make payment either by credit card or bank-in option. After payment was done, your photos will soon be deliver to your door steps conveniently by a reputable courier service company. No hassles, no worries.

The price is simply irresitable where a 4R print cost RM0.30/piece and 5R cost RM0.50/piece. It is relatively cheaper than those photo shops outside. No additional charges will be imposed and no minimum quantity are required for your order. You will just need to upload whatever photos you requested for print, and if your order is RM35 and above, you will enjoy a free delivery. Doesn't that sounds convincing enough?

If you still have loads of photos needed to be print out, check it out at eoe Online website. It is so simple yet convenient. I'm going to send in another batch of my order now!

A visit from my parents

After marriage, I admit that I seldom go home (hometown). First, due to work. Second, due to the kids. Third, due to the journey (2.5 hrs). I know. They are all excuses.

In my heart, I always planned to travel back hometown during the weekends. But when that weekends arrived, my plan somehow shifted to something else. I know my parents are very dissapointed but they never blame me. I'm glad to have a very supportive and understanding parents.

My dad even told us once that if we are not free to travel back home, he and mum can always come up to Seremban to visit us instead because both of them are pensionner. They have the time for the whole world. These words are so comforting and took away my guilt instantly.

Dad & Mum, thanks for being so thoughtful. Can't wait to meet up with both of you tomorrow. Have a pleasant journey and drive safely.

* I called my parents almost everyday * Since it is difficult to find time to visit them, I make it a point to call them instead. And mum is bringing me her home-made kaya!!! Yummy !

DETOLF Glass - Door Cabinet from IKEA

IKEA is on SALE again! Check out here.

My in-laws went to IKEA two days ago (Sunday) for some shopping. We did not follow and stayed at home whole day. Save money for not going out! ^_^
As we were watching TV at home, MIL called hubby and 'tempted' him to buy this glass cabinet. Why I say 'tempted' ? Well, we had no intention to buy anything (not even the cabinet) even we did saw the advertisement in the newspaper. Just a short conversation on the phone, hubby get himself one! Because MIL mentioned that SIL got herself 2.....Yes...TWO!
I googled for the above picture. We have not assemble ours.
At the end, stayed at home whole day still leave hubby's wallet thinner by RM179 nett.
* I think this cabinet is a little bit pricey, but hubby comfort me by saying only one word 'IKEA' wor. * Hmm.........after the IKEA word sinked at the bottom, I still think it is EXPENSIVE. What do you think?

A crave for Nasi Lemak

Since yesterday, I already have a crave for Nasi Lemak. Actually, it has also been quite some times that I did not eat Nasi Lemak for breakfast.

So, I've well planned for this morning to get a pack of hot Nasi Lemak on my way to the office. Happily in my mind, I've been picturing on how delicious the rice to go with the anchovies sambal and a fried 'bull eye' egg. Sigh! my favourite shop did not open. Giving myself another hope (as along the way, there is another stall selling nasi lemak), I drove furthure up and found that the shop is closed as well!!!!!

Dissapointed twice, I decided to head to the stall nearby my office to grab a pack. The Nasi Lemak is not that tasty, but I just have to satisfy my crave. Do you believe my luck? The makcik told me her Nasi Lemak was SOLD OUT!!!!

Pulling a long face, I came back to the office with 2 curry puffs which i bought from the makcik and made a glass of hot MILO. Sigh!!! my tounge is still searching for the Nasi Lemak taste.

Note: NO! This is not a pregnant crave! Just my 'tham chiak' behaviour. *wink*

Lantern moments

Supposed to lit up the lantern with the kids tonight (Saturday), but SIL got the mood and therefore, we made it a day earlier. The weather was also good (no rain) which permits us to do so. Do you think the kids have a great time?

I used flash to take the picture and it turn out clear, but do not have the candle effect. Since we have no where to hang the lantern, we just hung them up at the cloths line.

This picture was taken without the flash and I think it turns out better.

SIL bought a new lantern for YX. Since he like dinosaur, they picked this. So, referring to the question above. Do you think the kids enjoyed themselves ? The answer is NO ! YX is so afraid of the candles and kept saying "Got fire! Got fire!" *Slap forehead* This picture was also taken in a very fast pace as he is already there shouting for me to hold the lantern for him. Look at his scare face. Pressure!

Baby XJ with the battery operated lantern. MIL bought this lantern last year for YX. Well, XJ does not dare to hold the lantern as well when we turn it on. She quickly crawl away. When we turn it off, she came towards it and was very curious. Sigh ! Instead of the kids enjoying themselves, we adults had a great time instead!
After only a few minutes lighting up the lantern, YX insisted of going inside the house. We tried to coax him to hold the lantern a few times, but he refused. Both candles and battery operated lantern was rejected by him. Well, I guess I still have to wait for another year before both know how to enjoy this lantern moments. Or will they?

SHIT !

The other day, while we were all having a drink at the nearby mamak stall, SIL noticed that YX was doing something disgusting.

SIL : YX, what are you doing? Put down your hand ! Dirty boy !
YX : GOT SHIT LA !

Everyone burst out laughing at him while he still continue to work hard on that piece of SHIT !

Previously, YX does not know how to dig nose. If ever his nose is itchy, he will rub with his hand. Recently, he knows how to use his pointer to dig instead. I think it is the motor skill a kid will achieve as they grows. Hopefully he will soon understand the sensitivity of such act.
