Satay Celup @ Seremban

A few days back, hubby heard from a friend saying there is a new satay celup shop in Seremban. Ah....I was so excited and wanted to try it. Glad that we did. Even there are not much of varieties comparing to the Malacca one, but the peanuts gravy are so delicious.

Located in Kemayan Square. It is open from 5 pm till 4 am. Price as low as RM0.60

Fuchok, fried wantan, squid, mushroom, fishball, pig skin, kangkung, etc...

The boiling hot peanuts gravy filled with loads of crushed peanuts. They do have other chilli sauces and I find the chilli oil (something like sambal) is the BEST! If only they have 'tai chow' I sure wallop the whole bowl of chilli. It is damn nice!

Burp ! Yumm yumm.
Besides than the peanuts gravy, they do have clear soup and BBQ section. You just choose what you want to be BBQed, and the worker will do it for you and serve them right at your table. We had a few skewer of BBQ chicken and pork while I saw some customer had BBQ prawns and squids. They do not serve beef and mutton.

  10. smallkucing ~ Click on the 1st picture and you will get a larger view. The address are stated there.

suituapui ~ hahaha...no KAKI no SHIOK ! Just like they say drinking beer alone is a lot more bitter than drinking in a group.

SP ~ Unlike the Malacca one, here they serve a new pot from the kitchen when we are seated. Not sure if the gravy are recycle or not, but at least the pot looks clean just like a brand new one. Then, in front of u, they add loads of crushed peanuts into the gravy.

CH Voon ~ I think nowadays those lok lok van provide satay sauce. Go and take a dip now. hehe

foongpc ~ ya ya..if the gravy are good, then everything will be nice. The ingreadient does not need any maniration anyway.

Chloe ~ Yes..a new shop just open around the CNY. Next trip back, go and try. Right opposite a Seafood Rest. in Kemayan square. And remember to try the chilli oil too. Very nice and fragance.

Mummy Gwen ~ Ya...a new shop. We have another new place for supper. hehe...

reanaclaire ~ Or if you do drop by at Seremban, must go and try this shop. Malacca one have to queue up very long.

  14. smallkucing ~ paisey as the photo was not properly taken, thus can't really read the add and the restaurant name was covered by the camera flash. I also can't remember the name of this shop.

chinnee ~ haha...another version of melaka's one. I think this Seremban one is quite allright. If only they offer more varieties.

Mommy Ling ~ Oh!! That's a great tip for eating satay celup.

  15. Wah....looks good to ask Hubby to try too. But too bad the shop's timing is from 5pm onwards which is usually not the time if I happen to be around Seremban. If I'm in Seremban, usually it's late morning to early afternoon, then balik already.
