Another Go Green things in my home

NOTE : This post is more suitable for ladies. If guys are interested, you may continue to read on :)

Still remember I posted something on cloth diapering and mentioned that my ex-schoolmate 'poisoned' my mind on something else? Well, coffeesncookies hit the jackpot with her comment by saying "pppssstttt...... cloth pads?"

Taadaa.........proudly presenting the CLOTH PADS ! haha..... (guys, you may stop here if you want, but you may choose to continue if you are curious)

I'm not sure if I will be comfortable in using them, but I'm giving myself a chance to try them. Let see what I've got........

For the time being, I will start off with 2 liners, 4 regulars and 4 overnights.

In between, I'm planning to use the disposable pads as well. When I'm ready on 100% cloths, I will go and stock up more. Let's see how comfortable I'm with them for the first few months, then only will decide further.

In addition, I bought 1 wetbag so I can stuff those soiled pad during office hour. Actually, the wetbag looks very nice and in second thought, I felt like using it as my wristpouch instead. To put in money and handphone when I go to the pasar malam. haha......still deciding.

But then, I will have nothing to store my soiled pads in the office then. To get another wetbag? Crazy rite. They aren't cheap anyway. Now, I'm waiting for 'that' day to come so I can officially try them on !

  3. Happy for your 'green campaign' project. I was thinking to get a few for myself(from Mommy Ling), but my husband wasn't 'positive' with the idea. Since he is the breadwinner, I have no choice but give in.T-T

    Happy weekend to you!

  6. The wetbag is nice. If I were you, I'll also try to save it for something else. Maybe I'll just wrap the soiled pad in newspaper (or whatever) and keep it in a small plastic bag... Quite leceh hor? I've always wanted to try these trendy CPs too but everytime I think about keeping soiled pads in my bag and bringing them home to wash... feels kinda yucky and can't bring myself to do that lah haha!

  9. Good...good! Friends of the environment! Ah! A wet bag! I was in charge of the staff welfare (before I retired)...and there were horror reports of lady teachers throwing it into the toilet bowl, into the rubbish bins...or even on the floor beside the bins - and they were teachers, believe it or not!!! So shockingly disgraceful!
