Simple Birthday celebrations

Last week, we celebrated the kids' Birthday in a very simple way. We had dinner with family members at a local restaurant. Even both kids do not really know the meaning of this celebrations, they still enjoyed themselves because they received BIG FAT ang pows ! haha

Baby XJ @ 2 years old ; YX @ 4 years old

I'm happy too because I managed to 'bake' my kids' Birthday cake. I've done the trial over here, and glad that I kept my promise and got it done again on the actual celebrations day. For the base, I used chipsmore biscuits. It turned out to be very hard. Maybe I did not add enough butter? The ice cream was fine. In the middle, I added some chocolate chips and the top, I decorated with colorful edible sweets and alphabet biscuits.

We brought the cake to the restaurant. As the freezer in the restaurant does not allowed outside food, we had the dessert first before all the other dishes.

  8. [SK] ~ I bought the alphabet biscuits from Tesco. Haha...I was actually digging for the one I wanted and the promoter was staring at me so hard. I had all the alphabets but missed out 1 'Y'. So I combined a 'V' and 'I' to make a 'Y'. If you look at the 2nd picture carefully, you will be able to see it.

Hayley ~ Because it is ice cream the kids love them. hehe....

Mummy-J ~ YAY ! I managed to get the cupcakes done. hehe.... and yes...the T-shirts come in handy because I did not prepare any NEW clothings for their birthday actually. hehe

suituapui ~ haha...we consider this as simple because we did not invite any other relatives ma. Only our own family members. And the food pic...hhmmm.....did not managed to snap any of them because once the food was served, everyone started to dig into it.

eugene ~ yaya....i'm always looking forward for their B'day. Wah! Your son is 13 and teenager is hard to deal with sometimes. I',m sure you are doing good. Keep it up!

wenn ~ Just a simple one.

reanaclaire ~ Oh yes...it is a IN fashion. Maybe you can bake one for your kids' birthday?

MeRy ~ Cupcakes easier to eat. No need to cut. hehe....
