Melaka Zoo @ 31 Oct 2010

Last Sunday, we woke up with no plan in mind (again). Once I've got the kids to wash up and changed, we headed out for breakfast. While eating, that was when we decided to bring the kids to the ZOO. Since YX has been requesting to visit the ZOO every now and then, his wish was granted.

We choose the Zoo Melaka and the kids enjoyed the most. It was a great experience for them too!

We arrived on time for the Animal Show. Mostly parrots performing. The kids went WOWed and both were in full concentrations.

YX and Baby XJ got so excited when they saw real animals.

Baby XJ intimating YX to pose for a picture with the giraffes at the back.

Both were so engrossed when they saw the elephants.

Glad that YX built up some courages to feed the elephant with sugarcane stick sold by the zoo keeper. Initially, he was afraid but after we explained how it works and seeing other kids feeding, he wanted to try. I'm sure it was a great experience for him. Baby XJ was too afraid to get near to the elephants.

Deer

Crocodiles

Chimpanzees

Flamingos

Zebras

Dirty elephants.
As the elephants swaying left and right, baby XJ excitedly and loudly told papa that the elephants were dancing !!! LOL !

We had a ride on this train. RM2 for adult and RM1 for kid (above 4 years old)

Waiting at the train station

As both were too bored waiting, they hug each other, entertaining themselves.

This was baby's look after spending about an hour plus in the Zoo. Can sense that she was EXTREMELY TIRED. YX was all sweaty but full of energy.

We stopped at the Ayer Keroh overhead bridge to have late lunch. Baby slept in the car after lunch and YX stayed awake throughout the journey.

And at the Ayer Keroh overhead bridge, I found something! Will blog about it in the next post.

  24. What do you think about adding some more images? No offence, content is really nice. Just as I’ve heard humans acquire info much more efficient if there are some useful images.
