White color

YX can be very lazy when comes to coloring. He will only colors when he is in the mood. During the long school holidays last December, I checked on his coloring book and found that most of the pictures were either half colored or some 3/4 colored. I asked him why didn't he finished coloring them. I laughed when he answered me ....

Unfinished work, but YX claimed that it is completed !

" Oooo....Those are WHITE in color. So no need to color them".

He drew the stars and colored them. I did not noticed them until he told me !
The bubbles were left uncolored.

Only a lazy boy can come up with such excuses, but a good one indeed !

  1. Seriously i don't think that is the excuse of a lazy boy, well children color world is so different than ours,,, their white is truly white in color sense, our white is plain nothing, to them it is already a color, right?

anyway i always think children are pure in their thinking, but sadly the world has one way or another make them a bit blur,,, i am learning too,,,

    take care now

  3. If my girls told me that those places should be white, I will insist them to use white color pencil to color those parts as well. Just to make sure, they are not lazy.

  20. Clever boy. I guess he's not really into art... Such things cannot be forced. Not everyone is artistically-inclined. Maybe a Science and Maths person...

  23. I still consider his colouring is better than Sarah's one. At least YX has different colours in the drawing .
