Touched

Yesterday night while in the bedroom, XJ suddenly said when she grows up, she wanted to go to school. She was actually eager to attend school as every morning, she will follow MIL to fetch YX to and back from school. However, hubby and I had not decided whether to enroll her by end of this year or end of next year. Sill deciding.

While mixing milk for them, XJ surprised me again when she said she wanted to be a POLICE when she grows up. I asked her WHY? And she said so she can CATCH koko when he is naughty. I laughed, but at the same time, I felt sad upon hearing that. YX had been very protective towards XJ and in returned, XJ did not show the same. YX did not give any response to that.

Anyway, they changed topic and was playing with their toys.  After their milk and as we lie down on the bed, YX suddenly told XJ "Mei mei, don't be a police".

I knew YX must be thinking of something and so I quickly asked him WHY?

I was touched when he said "I'm a monster. When I opened my mouth, FIRE will come out. And the fire will burnt all the POLICE. Mei mei better don't be a police so I won't burn her !"

I hugged YX and told him that he is a very good brother. Always taking care of his little sister. I hope when they grew up later, they will care for each other even they have family of their own.

Addicted

Actually, I really wanted to keep my blog updated and to blog hop but was always redirected to do something else. That something else is not IMPORTANT at all but I just couldn't take my eyes and hands off it. Once the computer is ON, automatically, I will clicked on that icon.

I'm ADDICTED to a game, called WEDDING DASH 4 EVER !

It is a Time Management game and are really addictive ! The wedding planner will have to seat the guests at their desired place, served them food and comply to their requests before the guests turned angry. If the guests are angry, the bride will turned into a GREEN MONSTER while the bridegroom will turned into a GORILLA. Then, that particular level will have to be restarted again. Besides, each level will have a target to achieved in order to proceed to the next level.

I'm now at the 5th level (about 80% completed) and hopefully once I've finished this game, I can be active in blogging again.

So at this moment, I shall keep myself away from the blogging world and shall be back to catch up with you all soon. I'm really addicted. ^_^

Psst...psst...if you saw my comment, meaning I'm taking a break from the game or failed to go to the next level. hehehe....

Note: Email me if you want this game.

Tension morning

Waking up a child in the morning for school is no fun. Every morning, I will have to CARRY YX to the toilet. Sometimes, he will cry, sometimes he will just mumble "I'm tired, I want to sleep" and sometimes, he is ok. Those ok moments will only happen 1 in every 10 times!

Previously, I served him milk before asking him to brush his teeth. It will be easier to wake him up this way. But now, it is the other way round.

I make sure he MUST brush his teeth first before taking his milk because he will VOMIT every time he brushes his teeth after milk.

If he brushes his teeth before taking milk, he is fine.

Most of the morning, he will greet me with his sour sleepy face. And I will be rushing and shouting like mad asking him to be FAST FAST FAST.

At night, I will off the lights at 8.30pm (the latest) but he will only sleep at around 9.30pm. He will sing and talk despite my numerous warnings.

Kids. When it is time to sleep, they refuse to sleep. When it is time to wake up, they want more sleep.

And I noticed that his 'energizer' battery could last longer now.........no nap in the afternoon, he is still so active !!! How to make him tired ?

This Rabbit Year....

Thank you everyone on your well wishes and greetings. This Rabbit year is not a good beginning for us. A week before CNY, YX was having high fever off and on. We brought him to the peadiatric at a private hospital on the 31st January (Monday - 7th days of fever) and was told that YX was tested POSITIVE for Influenza B. The doctor even suggested to feed XJ the medications (Tamiflu) prescribed for YX as a prevention as Influenza B is very contangious. No, we did not give the medications to XJ.

Instead, we requested for an admission but the private hospital was FULL ! As an alternative, we brought YX to the General Hospital and showed them the report from the peadiatric. However, the doctors in the GH does not treat this as a serious case. They explained that Influenza A is more dangerous as it can caused death but not Influenza B. Nevertheless, they still admitted YX for further observations. Miraculously, once YX was admitted in the hospital, his fever went off even without medications for the whole day. The nurse took his tempreature frequently and no sign of fever. It was hard to believe. Doctor then declare that YX can be discharged the next day since the fever had gone!

During the stay at the hospital, doctor even tested him for H1N1 and was glad the results came back NEGATIVE. The next day 1st Feb (Tues), we went back home and was looking forward for the CNY celebrations. However, I caught YX's virus! I had a mild fever and was having bad cough and flu. I quickly went for a doctor to get some medications. Thanks god hubby, XJ and other family members were free from this virus.

2nd Feb (CNY's eves), where everyone went for the reunion dinner, I had plain porridge at home.

3rd Feb (1st day of CNY), I was feeling much better but still have a very bad cough with lots of phlegms. I did not get to enjoy the CNY goodies. I had porridge again for lunch and dinner.

4th Feb (2nd day of CNY), We went back to Johor. It was a last minute decisions as I've earlier told mum that I won't be going back during this CNY as I was not feeling well. In addition, Segamat was badly flooded. But after discussions with hubby, we decided to go back as to join in the celebrations. Only 1 part of the kampung area was still flooded and luckily we managed to pass through. The flood in the Segamat town had already subsided. My parent's house were not affected as it was located at a higher locations.

6th Feb (4th day of CNY), We travel back to Seremban after lunch (around 4 pm). Normally, it took us only 2 1/2 hours journey, but that day, there were a terrible jam and we only reached home at around 9.30pm.

7th Feb (5th day of CNY), I lost my voice after i woke up in the morning. I could only whispered to my kids and hubby. It was terrible!

9th Feb (7th day of CNY), I still don't have voice after taking some Chinese medications for 2 days. I've decided to go to the doctor and was prescribed antibiotic.

Up till today, my voice have not fully recover yet. It was hoarse but at least I could speak ! Wonder this will drag for how long ;(

Hope your CNY celebrations were a good and memorable one.
