Change of Taste (Again)

After posting this up, many said kid's taste bud will change as they grow. How true this statement was because YX had proven that his taste buds are really changing !

On the 8 May 2012, he had his first bite of PRAWN !

Previously, he never enjoyed seafood. He refused to try even he saw how we enjoyed eating them. Be it deep fried or stir fried, nothing can attract him. Unlike XJ, she loves seafood just like me.

The other day, MIL deep fried some prawn fritters. Knowing he doesn't eat prawn, I did not give it to him.

Surprised ! Surprised !

He requested for it. I thought I heard wrongly and remind him again, THAT IS PRAWN.

He said, "Yes, I want to eat PRAWN".

Seeing him trying out new food, this is telling me that my boy had grown up.

  3. Hehehe~ maybe he got influenced by his sister. Siblings tend to encourage each other, from what I observe :)

    Happy mother's day!

  5. $$$$$ Prawns are expensive! LOL!!! As long as he's not allergic, why not? My daughter would only eat the white of salted egg when small - now she loves the yolk and she does eat the white as well.. Their tastes change over the years - it's only natural.

  6. i think it's true, as we grow our taste will change and we dare to try more things that we didn't feel like eating while we were kids.. for my case, the best example is VEGETABLES!! haha~~

    1. Normally I won't force them to try new food, but will only introduce. They will make their own decisions
