Mother's Day 2012 + Petrosains

Last week, it was Mother's Day. Coincidentally, my parents were in town as dad has an appointment in that week. I was glad they arrived before the Mother's Day so we could have a simple celebration.

On Sunday morning, we went to KLCC to visit the Petrosains since dad and mum have not visited this place yet. It was the first for both my kids too.

We arrived at around 11 am. We thought we could finished the whole center within 2 hours but we couldn't. By 12.30 pm, we only covered about 30% and our stomach was 'protesting' because we had simple breakfast in the morning.

Good thing was, we can leave the center and re-enter via the VIP lane with one Petrosains staff to accompany us. So we went off for our lunch and continued our tour right up till 5 pm. There were so much to see and both kids enjoyed themselves so much.

By the time we reached Seremban, it was time for dinner and brother + family came to meet us for a steamboat dinner. Both dad & mum enjoyed the dinner a lot because dad can have his favourite curry soup while mum enjoyed the fresh veges and fishballs.

  8. I still haven't been to Petrosains yet and I'm very curious to experience the fun too. Chloe went there on her school field trip last year, that's why we didn't feel the "need" to bring her there haha..

  9. Thanks for this. The picture looks just like me, except I had heavier pants and a sock over the right leg to keep it off the chain. The ski mask is definitely the way to go. Of course, in just one winter of commuting and rather enjoying it this way, I killed half the parts on the bike, whereas the ladies who merely commuted just put on their winter clothing, changed nothing about their bikes or their relaxed pedaling, and always got there just as much on time as I did and probably more safely too. I'll put in a good word for the studded tires though. When you brake, good ones tend to grip the ice again even if they slip a little.
