Picnic in PD

Although we stay so near to Port Dickson, we seldom visit the beach. There were a few times we did thought of booking a room to stay overnight (for a short holiday) but that plan was always being put off after we reminded each other that the money spend on the accommodation is better to spend on food !

Lovely ocean
Since my parents will be going back to Johor soon, we planned for a mini picnic at the PD beach on last Sunday. The weather that day was good which permit us to spend a few hours in the morning enjoying the breeze, the sun and the sea !

Kids enjoying playing with the white sands
Both kids enjoyed the sand the most ! They were afraid of the sea water. Maybe because of the waves ? or the size of the sea are too vast ? No matter how we coaxed, they just refuse to go near the water.

XJ trying to make a Mickey Mouse mould
Initially, my fussy XJ refused to take off her shoes because she was afraid her legs will get dirty. But after some warmed up, she doesn't mind the sands at all !

We bought some kuih muih and pre packed nasi lemak while mum prepared homemade coffee for our breakfast by the seaside. Sitting on the picnic mat while having our breakfast was so enjoyable !

    1. Depending on which area. We prefers the beach at Bayu Beach Resorts. The sand are white and water are clear.

  17. I always wanted to make a trip there too but always put it off. Your daughter doesn't like the sand eh? Same like my daughter too! She even screamed the first time and we had to carry her the whole time. Now she's better already.
