Free Drawing Analysis

When I read about this post at Demoments, regarding how to know your child spiritually by just having their drawing analyze, I got so excited and interested in it. I quickly read all the information required and couldn't wait to get home to snap picture of my kids' drawings.

As YX loves to draw, he must draw every day and each day he will produced about 3 - 5 pieces of drawing, depending on his mood. XJ also followed her brother foot step. She will help herself with the A4 paper and sit down quietly to draw together with YX.

So, after work that day, I quickly asked for their masterpieces and I got this :

Monsters fighting ~ YX
YX told me some monsters are fighting with each other. The one on the left was holding a bow and arrow to shoot the monster on the right.

Papa & Mama ~ XJ
XJ who doesn't know how to draw a proper picture surprised us with this. She can finally draw a human ! haha. She told us that the bigger one is papa and the smaller one is mama. Everyone laughed as they said mama looked more like a ghost in the picture  : (

I've sent the above drawings to knkidspirit@gmail.com for a free analysis a few days ago. Looking forward to receive their feedback. If you are interested, hop over to demoments to get more information.

On that same day itself, YX had drawn the below drawings.

Angry birds theme

Dogs with carrots

Fruits

He has also started to draw SMURFS recently. Hop over to his drawing blog to see what he had smurfed !

A surprised gift from Quay Po Cooks

Parcel via Pos Laju
On Thursday afternoon, I received an email from Quay Po Cooks saying she had sent out the gifts to my home address and I shall be receiving them by Monday. However, I was surprised when I saw this Pos Laju package on the table on Friday itself. The delivery man was fast :D

A golden belt with white polka dot
I'd received a GOLDEN BELT. Wow ! It was beautiful. Thank you very much Quay Po Cooks. All this began when I went over to her blog and participated in the slipper guessing game.

Inserted with a short note
Quay Po Cooks was also very thoughtful and included a short note to me. With this golden belt, time for me to scout for a suitable dress to go with it. Shopping time ! haha

Swimming

XJ in her mini swim suit
For the past few Sundays, we had been diligently bringing the kids to the swimming pool in the morning after a light breakfast. After their swim, they will feel very hungry and we will go for our branch. Hubby had got himself a swim trunk and accompanied the kids in the pool. At the meantime, I'm their 'guard' seating at the side taking care of their belongings while enjoying looking at their happy faces inside the pool.

YX : Swimming is fun ! Mummy, next time don't go anywhere else. Just bring us to this swimming pool ok ? The photo was taken when he just entered the pool, thus his hair was still dry !
There was one time when YX told me not to bring him anywhere else because he just want to come to this swimming pool. I couldn't help laughing at him. Even some strangers beside us laughed when they heard that.

XJ : Mummy, I love swimming so much. Must come here often !
XJ enjoyed swimming as much as her brother. They had since upgraded to swim in the big pool together with hubby, but with their swim ring of course. I won't be able to take any more photos of them swimming because taking photos was actually prohibited. I did not notice the sign displayed by the side of the pool until one of the lifeguard on duty stopped me. How embarrassing !

I, My Brother (我和我的兄弟 ~恩)

Top: Gui Gui. Left ~ Jack, Right ~ Thomas

Early last year, one of the Astro channel broadcasted this heart warming drama about family, friendship and romance - a collaboration between Malaysia and Taiwan. I've missed it on the television and only got the chance to watch it recently via the Internet. It was really a sad drama whereby I cried almost every episode !

The main cast
Malaysian Idol pair Thomas/Jack ( 東于 哲 ) and Taiwanese Gui Gui ( 鬼鬼 ).

The Story
Li Da Hui (Jack), a 19 years old simple young man who mature early to care for his 20 years old elder brother, Li Da En (Thomas) who has an IQ of a 10 year old boy. Both lived with their grandmother in a small village. They worked in their neighbour's restaurant and are the best friend with the owner's daughter, Lu Wei Wei (Gui Gui). Those were the days where the 3 of them were very happy.

Things started to change when Da Hui met an old classmate and wanted to improve himself and decided to work in the city. Grandma disagreed but Da Hui insisted and left the village. All he wanted was to earn a better income so he could provide a better living for his grandma and Da En. Things does not worked as plan. Da Hui was being conned, lost his job, lost his money and homeless. Being shameful, he does not dare to return home. Wei Wei who missed Da Hui traveled all the way to the city to look for Da Hui and coincidentally saw him crying under the rain by the road side. Wei Wei encouraged him to return to the village and live like before. At the same time, Wei Wei confessed to Da Hui that she likes him.

Da Hui and Wei Wei returned to the village only to overheard Wei Wei's father despise him, unintentionally. Wei Wei's father preferred his daughter to be with her well educated cousin living aboard so he could give her good life in the future. Feeling inferior, Da Hui made up his mind to forget about Wei Wei and returned to the city once again to look for a brighter future. There, he met his new girlfriend, Tiffany who was an orphan. She was a kind and thoughtful lady. After some time, due to some family problems, Da Hui and Tiffany returned to the village. Grandma and Da En were so happy and welcome them back with big arms.

Da Hui worked in Wei Wei parent's restaurant again and had since forgiven Wei Wei's father for the negative thoughts towards him. In fact, he has never kept that in his heart. With Tiffany's presence, Wei Wei was heart broken but have to accept the fact. Life goes on as usual until one day, an enemy lit the restaurant on fire. At that time, everyone were away doing marketing leaving only grandma and Da En behind. Due to inhaling too much smokes, grandma and Da En was hospitalized. Worst, a heavy object hit on Da En's head making him unconscious. Again, Da Hui was devastated.

As towards the end, each episode became even bitter. Many other sad things befallen on Da Hui yet he needs to stay strong and be optimistic. Life still goes on.

This is really a great drama which touches my heart and making me cry bucket. Hubby shake head looking at me like that. Hubby, you just don't understand how sad this drama was and how fragile my heart is. hahaha..

You can watch the complete drama online over here. However, there is no English sub. Remember to prepare a box of tissue before you start watching !

Lollipop

2 days ago, YX came back with a pack of junk food given by one of his classmate who celebrated his birthday in the kindy. I was glad that the kids did not help themselves with the 'goodies' once back from school. Instead, they waited for us to come back and seek our permissions if they could eat them.

After their dinner, we allowed them to eat. Of all the 'goodies' inside the pack, both kids wanted the lollipop. There is only one inside the pack but both kids wanted it. Knowing they will fight for it, we suggested to cut the lollipop into half. Both refused and insisted that they will SHARE.

YX eating his precious lollipop while XJ waiting for her turn
After a few pestering, we gave up and allowed them to open the only lollipop in the house and reminded them to SHARE. I know it is very unhygienic, but sometimes we just have to close one eye.

The cheeky YX feeing XJ the lollipop
Glad that YX shared with XJ but it was really hilarious seeing them like that. The lollipop was so PRECIOUS to them. Both couldn't bare to let go for even 1 seconds. When YX was eating, XJ will shout for her turn. When XJ was eating, YX will do the same.

Another cheeky posed from the kids
As it was already late (seeing XJ already in her pyjamas), we did not intend to buy another lollipop for them.  Even if it was still early, we will not purposely drive out just to buy them a lollipop.

XJ's turned to feed YX the lollipop
Hubby shake head seeing them eating like that while I find them amusing. That reminds me of my brother and I. When we requested to eat supper, mum will cook us instant noodles. She will cook in a big pot and only divide them in a bowl for each of us. Brother and I will always compare who have more noodles and soup and will complaint to mum saying it is not even. Mum will then say "Why don't you bring the bowl and weight them ! " Hahaha

Is it really that delicious ?

Water Dragon came

Last Saturday, we went for a buffet dinner in a relative's house. Hubby's cousin are getting married in early March. We drove 2 separate cars over as one car could not fit all the family members. We left at around 7pm and after an hour plus, we came back home. Only hubby & I plus the kids and SIL's husband and wife + son left earlier while the other family members stayed back to chit chat.

Once we reached home, YX as usual being so excited couldn't wait to go into the house to play with his cousin. He rushed inside the house and fell down. Luckily nothing serious happen to him. Just a minor cut on his chin. I quickly on the lights and to our horror, we saw the floor was covered with water ! Hubby and BIL went around the house to find where did the water came from. SIL and I quickly helped the kids to the stairs so they won't fell down on the slippery floor.

Finally, hubby and BIL found the culprit. One of the hose in the kitchen area were broken and water were spraying out. In just a short 1 hour plus, the amount of water on the floor are consider a lot ! Surprisingly, the water moved in a shape of a dragon. We joked, saying that the Water Dragon came to visit us. But in reality, we believe the floor are not even (which we could not see with our eyes) and that makes the water flow in the directions from the higher to the lower part. Certain area near to the broken hose were dry while the living room (far away from the hose) were wet !

YX's school bag and my notebook bag was on the floor. Unfortunately, the water choose to move in that direction and flooded our bags ! YX's school books were all soaked wet and I'd since dried them under the hot sun yesterday. My notebook was not that bad. Only soaked with a few cm of water. Luckily my external hard disk was not wet. Else, all my important files will be gone.

Everyone help to sweep the water out. With so many family members around, the job was done easily. A nice exercise after a heavy dinner. MIL continued to joke that we were all so filial as every one helping her to mop the floor from the kitchen to the living room. Except for YX's book and injured chin, nothing else was damaged.

Cendol

Cendol in stainless steel bowl
Once a while, hubby and I will visit this shop next to the Seremban's Triangle Square (Sam Kok Tei) to have our favourite cendol. I like the cendol to be served in the stainless steel bowl. It preserved the coldness of the cendol and always gave me a kind of 'Ummph' feeling.

Cendol with red beans
The gula melaka being used are thick and fragrant unlike some other stall's are too diluted. I always like my cendol to mix with red beans. Yummy delicious cendol !

Penang's Property Website

When I was still a student, I have always dream to work in Penang when I grew up one day. This dream was made when I first visited Penang during the school holidays with my parents and instantly fell in love with this state. After graduated, my dream was nearly realized when I worked with a Penang operated company based in KL. The company had sent me on and off to the main office in Penang for training and meetings throughout my employment there. Even it was just a short visit each time (2 - 3 days), I enjoyed it tremendously.

Not only dreaming about career, I have even dreamt BIG, that was to own a property in Penang especially facing the sea ! With today's technology, I can easily use the Internet to search for a Penang property completed with information and photos. It was so convenience and time saving too. From the website, you can view the property by areas and by price range. The website even facilitate a Mortgage calculator for buyers to calculate an estimation monthly installment. This can help you to plan your financial before making any decisions.

The website not only provide information on property For Sale, you can also use the website to search property For Rent. Photos of the property for rent are clearly shown and completed with description and price. If you are looking for a space for business, the website have a list of shop lots and offices for sales/rent. By using this free property resources website, looking for a suitable property became easier. All you have to do is to leave your contact info in the form provided and the owner / sales person will contact you back. By looking at some of the photos from the website, I started to dream of owning one of the property facing the sea. If only money can fall from the sky !

Shocking

2 days ago, I went to Jusco to buy some pizza for the company tea break. When boss have the mood, he will sometimes gave us a treat. As I was approaching the pizza outlet, I heard a child screaming and crying. Around that area, I saw a small group of people looking at the same direction.Curious, I went nearer and take a look at what's going on.

There were 2 ladies, a baby (few months old) and a little girl (2 -3 years old) at one of the fast food outlet. I was shocked when I saw one of the lady slapped the crying little girl. That little girl was being slapped with both hand for a few times before being carried up and THROW to her seat. Too bad, she did not land on the seat but fell to the ground instead ! The lady who slapped her picked her up and put her to her seat in a very rough way and shouted for her to be quiet.

Another lady (could be her friend or relative) quickly carried the crying little girl and calm her down. However, the little girl was still crying profusely. How could a traumatized child quiet down. Imagined, she was being slapped and thrown in the public !

A few minutes later, the fierce lady carried the baby and left the scene. The nicer lady who was still trying to calm down the little girl left in another direction. I hope the little girl are not hurt. I wonder what had the little girl done to make the lady so angry till she had to act like a mad woman.

My Prayers goes to that little girl. Hope she will not be mistreated in the future and will have a memorable childhood which she will be proud to share with her children years later.
