Taiwan ( 29 Apr - 6 May 2013 ) Day 3 ~ Master Bear Resorts

Continuing from my previous post, here's the Master Bear Resorts ! As the landscapes of this place resembles a bear's paw, this is how the resorts got it's name.

The entrance of the resorts
Upon arriving, we were all awed by the BEAR wording at the entrance. As it was dinner time, we headed towards the resort's restaurant for a warm dinner. Food that night was very tasty.

Steamed soy sauce fish

Braised pig's trotter

Salad deep fried prawn

Pai kuat (Pork ribs in sweet & sour sauce)

Stir fried squid with vegies
After dinner, we went to our individual cottage for a short rest before gathering at the hall area for some interesting activities. There were 4 groups of tourists that night and all joined in to enjoy in the activities.

The first activity that night was writing our wishes on the Kong Ming lantern which was to be released towards the end of the night. Everyone gathered at the very cramped area to write wishes.

Even little XJ doesn't want to miss out the fun !

After wishes were written, the respective tour guide will keep the lantern for us and the next activity was DANCING ! The staffs were very professional and were very good in tricking everyone to dance ! It was a very good exercises. Even my 80 years old uncle went up the stage to dance together !

Dancing activities
After about 4 - 5 dances being conducted, it is time to release our Kong Ming lantern.

Getting ready to light the lantern
All were being ushered to an empty area to release the lanterns.

Ready to fly

XJ got so excited seeing some other participant's lantern flew up high into the sky
Once the lanterns were being released up into the sky, a short 1 mins fireworks were being displayed. Everyone are free to walk about the resorts and are free to use the public karaoke at the lounge. As too many people were kara'oking, our groups walked around the resorts for some photo shots. XJ found a very huge bear !

Bear hugszzzz
Back into the room, it was such a comfortable sight. I just can't wait to jump onto the bed for a good night sleep as all my energy was being used up during the dancing earlier.

Our comfortable room
The next morning, weather was beautiful. After breakfast, we quickly took some pictures which we couldn't do it during the night because of the lightings.

Taking more pictures in the morning
We even found a row of red motorcycles parking at the side of the resorts. I believe those motorbikes are for rent.

Our little cottage are located behind of the restaurant. Surrounded by trees, it was really a very peaceful and comfortable place to relax.
