Hubby, the chef

* NON HALAL *

When hubby knew I Google for cake recipes, he too, went to Google for his favourite food. He found the Roasted Pork recipe. There were so many of them and hubby found that the ingredient required are easily accessible and the method of doing it was not too tricky, hence, he gave it a try.

He is a little bit impatience and was eager to do it immediately. MIL helped to buy some 3 layered pork and right after work, hubby started with the seasonings. The well-seasoned meat needs to be kept overnight in the fridge before roasted for better taste.

Believe it or not, hubby couldn't sleep that night before. I think he was too excited as this was his first try ! He woke up as early as 6 am (it was a non-working day) and started his project. By the time I woke up at around 8.30 am, the roasted pork was ready !

For 1st timer, it was consider a success as the skin came out CRISPY ! However, towards the right side, the skin turned out to be quite tough.

Fresh from the oven
The seasoning was ok though.....some family members said it was too salty while hubby and I finds it ok. Roasted pork are supposed to be salty, isn't ?

Left side was successful but towards the right side, the skin was a bit tough.

Hubby was so proud of himself (ha ha ha) as everyone in the family enjoyed munching on this slab of meat. Most importantly, no wastage (just a little bit of the skin was thrown away) and he is going to do it again soon.
